I was recently late on a credit card payment. My min monthly payment went from 50 to 105. The following month, i was unable to make that payment. So they are now looking for $325 as a minimum. Is there a chance they will bring my minimum payment back to 50 for this statement? Over maybe just bring the amont down to 100 or so? its w/ chase. Thanks.

I have a payday loan that I got over the internet. The original loan was $500 so far i've paid $1935 and still have a balance of $130. I was told tonight if I choose too I can pay just the $130 and be done with it!!

i am handling my debt with CNI, a debt settlement company. they have been great so far. i am, of course, still having problems with some of the CA. i was put in contact with an attorney through CNI and UCAN and have successfully sued one of the companies that was violating the fdcpa. my husband is having problems with the CA, NES. they have called his work many times and threatened him with a felony credit card fraud and that he would be responsible for litigation fees. they have threatened to supbeona him also.

I went to a lawyer to discuss bankruptcy because I feel I have no way out of my debt. My husband has over $60,000 in student loans which we are going to have to start paying after the first of the year. Since student loans are not bankrupt able, and my unsecured debt is $8000, I feel silly filing for bankruptcy. I know that we cannot afford to take on the student loans plus continue to pay the debt we owe.

are doctor bills legal to report on a credit file? I know it isnt a credit transaction, just curious....

I have read a few different things on here, but i'm not sure of a clear answer. is there any where that does pdl consolidation? has anyone had any sort of success with any place?

I was just checking out another debt forum and they said that they are getting "no's" from every card they try to negotiate lower apr's with - anyone else seeing this? Maybe it's in preparation for the anticipated govt bail out of cc's?

Now that Issue 5 passed and the new 28%, 4 loan a year law is upheld when does it take effect?

I currently have 2 payday loans. It's getting harder and harder every payday to make the payments. They're both storefront locations in Wisconsin. The first one is Check Advance. The loan is for $732.00. I have paid a total of 1,188.00 since June. The second is Checkmate with a loan amount of $360.00. I have paid a total of $120.00 so far. If anyone could give me some advice on what I could do, I'd greatly appreciate it.
