what happens if i cancel my account at my bank and pay them off when i can?

I had a Citibank card that was charged off when I lost my job. It was never reported on my credit report. There is one year left before the SOL ends on this on credit card. A collection company billed me for the old debt, but the amount was double what the original balance was. I refused to pay and asked for validation. The collection company posted inaccurate information on my three credit reports. I disputed. Now, the collection company is no longer on my credit report, but Citibank is. There are two different balance amounts amounts listed by Citibank.

I just received a summons from Allied today, and there are three different plaintiffs listed: Two hospitals and one doctor's office, all represented by one attorney. I know it's Allied from my CR. Funny thing is, I had just gotten a copy of my CR so I could pay off some of these old medicals and clean up my CR. I even called all three OC's and had them send me statements! Would you believe it! I just paid all three OC's last week! Now what do I do? I know I have to file an answer with the court, but can I answer by filing a motion to dismiss so I don't end up with a paid judgment on my CR?

Have many payday loans out and it's out of control. Have done major review of bank statements. A new debit popped in now and it only shows it was done by DFG and then an acct number. After looking up DFG, they finance many many lenders. Can the bank tell exactly who took this money? Could DFG know what lender I owe? Has anyone seen this before? I have accounted for all lenders and the payments I made and this amount being debited is unaccounted for. It is an odd amount..not the even amount of payments (i.e.

I've been looking through many posts on how to take care of my horrendous PDL situation, but I'm really not sure what order to do things. I am currently negative in my bank account, so I have to make that zero before closing it. I did put an all ACH hold on my account to help in the meantime. The problem is, most of my pdls are with storefronts in Texas, and I'm seeing that they are CSOs and protected with their seemingly illegal fees. And, a lot of them required a check when they issued the loan.

I need help from anyone out there that can help me with a brake problem. OK here it goes - we changed the calipers on both the front sides of the car. We replaced the brake line on the driver's side of the car. All brakes but the driver's side work. What would make only one brake not work properly? I do not know what to do. I can not afford to put too much more money into this car. I am at my wits end. Please help!!!!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. For the last six months or so I have been trying to contact the company I used to take out my student loan, TERI. I knew that I owed them several payments, but I had not heard anything from them in months and months regarding my debt or how much I owed. I tried calling them for months but I was never able to talk to anyone, I just kept getting voicemails in their customer service. I even sent them a fax and got no response at all.
