Greenlight Funding is not licensed to conduct business in CA, yet they are issuing loans to CA residents. They are one of the worst lenders out there too with regards to their rates and unethical business practices. If the $150 loan is rolled over, as they automatically do unless you request otherwise, the total amount the consumer repays is $332.50. I recently closed my bank account and sent them a letter informing them that I was aware that they were conducting business illegally in CA and that I refuted that any balance was owed to them, as I had already repaid $187.50.

I need a lot of help too. I have 10 loans out and they total around $4500. I have 8 store front loans here in IA. I cannot afford to pay the interest on them any longer and I need help. I can't get a loan from a bank to pay them off. I have never been late to any of them and am a good customer. I have been paying on a few of them for a couple years.

So I've sent both these companies C&D letters, both asking for a refund on the amount I've overpaid. I have received no response but when I login to website there is nothing under the column for next payment due / minimum due....but when I go to loan status it still has the full amount of what they say I owe. Im a Mass resident by the way. Any one know why this would be???? Thanks

I've tried to respond t "past a reply and quick reply" but each time it says the user name is already taken and won't submit. It says that no matter what name I put in, so I onlu kmow how rt o resoind this way. I am sorry. I posted my problem a few days ago. Soaplady responded. Basically, there is no good solution for me. If I apply for a direct loan consolidation , and apply for payment based on income, I have to give the CA access to my income tax records. So far I haven't been able to find out how many years back they want to go.

I have signed with a debt settlement company, and am having much anxety instead of feeling good about my decision. I am worried about every little thing that could happen. Garnishment of my bank acct, being sued and having a judgement against me, etc. But I'm not sure what else to do since I am 25k in CC debt.....any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have received a letter from Cashland's attorney, basically saying even though they have accepted payments from T&C, this does not "bind Cashland to accept those payments as arrangements...Cashland did not sign any written agreement accepting payments as payment arrangements." Cashland is the only one acting like this. I haven't heard a peep out of the other pdl's I put with T&C. What are my options?

I just received a call from a woman who identified herself as Connie Kindle from FNCB asking for my husband. I said he wasn't here and she gave me a phone number to call her back. When I asked if there was an extension number---she replied, "no". The number was 1-800-824-6191. I hung up and immediately called the number she gave me. Tanya answered (not her real name I'm sure). I told her about the call and ask to speak to Connie. She said yes Connie worked there, but she didn't know her extension number. I ask what the call was about and she told me they were a collection agency.

Hi everyone, please disregard my 1st post. I didn't read all the info before posting. Ok here we go. I have 6 payday loans. All of which I beleive are internet. I live in NJ. I am burried and cannot keep up with the interest payments let along pay them off. I have been reading your information and I am learning all about these companies.
