I won a judgement, and the other party committed fraud against me. Will they qualify for chapter 7....and they have several pending lawsuits

Hey everyone, I just joined the community today, ready to tackle my debt! A little about me, I'm 26 years old, currently unemployed and have roughly $38,000 in debt. $30,500 of that is school loans, the rest is medical bills and I'm also paying monthly for a voluntary reposession. I have not paid on anything aside from the repo for a few years (I know, that's REALLY bad but my reaction to my debt was to ignore it unfortunately :( ). I've been trying to read a lot of "how I got out of debt" stories for motivation but only got angry.

i got a notice for court today about a credit card debt that i forgot i even had its so old when i called them they said 2001 its 2013 now im from indiana is that out of sol

 

Western Sky/Cash Call

I was informed today by my employer that Western Sky/Cash Call sent in a employment verification form to start the garnishing of my wages. My employer sent the form back.  The sent it through a collection agency called NRS, LLC.

I know they are an illegal company and I only have to pay the principal. Will they really garnish my wages? What should my next step be in this process? How long before garnishment will happen? I am at a loss and not sure what to do.

How are pay day loans at cash places different from internet paydayloans? What if I  default on internet paydayloans? What will happen to me???..Will i go to jail?

Hi there,

I am from Texas and have 1 outstanding Payday Loan and 2 installment loans. Does anyone have any help or advice in lowering my interest?? 

The Payday loan is from Check 'n Go for $1,500.00. I have paid $500.00 and owe $1,917.73.

I have an installment loan from Plain Green Lending for $1,400.00. I have paid $358.85 and I currently owe $1,668.22.

I also have an installment loan from Great Plains Lending for $800.00. I have paid $302.99 and owe $1,074.51.

I just want to make sure these are correct before I send them out so if I could get a second set of eyes that have done this before, it'd be a huge help. the Plain Green one is pretty straightforward but I want to make sure the Magnum one is correct.

I have just closed my checking account and opened another account at a different bank. (My old bank was an hour and a half each way from my new home which is why I didn't just change the checking account itself.)

I've been reading a lot on your site and it has given me hope but I'm still scared!  It's been hard for me to sleep at night.  I have paid out thousands in interest and realize my mistake in payday loans. It's a vicious cycle I can't get out of.  I live in Delaware and from what I understand,  loan companies have to be  licensed to loan.
