I wrote all three CRAs 30 days ago requesting validation or removal of several accounts. Only TU has responded (deleted 4, verified the rest). What are my legal rights now that the 30 days has passed for Equifax and Experian? Are they legally required to delete ALL disputed items? If so, what letter should I send them. Also, if SOL is up for some of these, should I now send Validation letters to CAs for the ones that were verified and not deleted? Would they be more likely to accept pay for delete offer if SOL is up? Thanks for your help.

I currently am in default on a payday loan with Cashland (storefront)and I will call them to try to work out payment arrangements tomorrow. My problem is that I have already agreed to 3 extended Pymt plans (EPP) w/ other storefronts totaling $700 per paycheck and does not leave much to pay my other bills and cashladn . I left a message with the collection person who called me today and asked if I could pay back $150 every two weeks until paid and she called back saying her supervisor said that would not work but that she could work out arrangements with me.

I am trying to see if anyone has dealt with this company. I recently got a call and they claim that they have a summons that needs to be served on me and that I needed to call some 800 number asap. I called the 800 number and was told that the company was chec reslutions and that they filed a summons in my local county for a payday loan I had with check n go. When I said I had no idea what they were talking about the lady said the loan was taken out back in august of 2007 and that i needed to pay.

Hi, My parents helped me with PLUS loans, but I'm responsible for paying them back. How can I get the qualified interest deducted from MY taxes? The loans are in my Dad's name, but all the checks to the loan company have been from me. I want to fill out a w-9, but...argh! -Ted

I just got a call from Sessoms and Rogers,attorneys,about an account.They are suing me and I know they mean what they say they just sued me for another account in July that I was working on paying but the creditor decided they would cancle my payment plan and sue me!!

I am sort of a new member to the forum but have been reading all the great posts and wanted to ask for advice. I had 7 payday loans. I paid off 2, and hired Langhorne debt solutions to help me with the remaining 5. They settled 2 for me (CashNetUSA and Discount Advances). The settlement offer with CashNet USA was good, but I ended up paying way more to Discount Advances than I think I should have (knowing what I know now). It is my understanding that Payday Ok and Payday One are the same company, and even Langhorne Debt Solutions agreeed with me on that.
