If someone has a promissory note from 1998 in the State of Nevada, but now resides in NC can that be upheld? Also, the promissory note has not notary stamp, signature, etc...

We are thinking of going ahead with CMS, my question is how come, with the tumbling market and homesales, we are not hearing of them as a solution and it's not "catching on" as help that is rising on a popular way to go other than bankruptcuy? How can we make sense of the points made from the community here? any further advise on this company before we "make the move to call". Thanks-Hope

Help! I currently have 5 internet payday loans; 1. Geneva Roth 2. 3. 4.MTE Financial - Paycheck to Paycheck, Internetcashusa, & Cash Advance Netowrk 5. Northway At least these are the names they have used when making their deposits. I live in the state of TN and the payday loan rate for storefont is 15% or $30.00. Of course, these are all charging much more. Do I have any options? I have closed my checking account and I have sent registered letters stating I revoke their right to ACH from the account and to revoke the voluntary wage garnishment.

I have been sued 2 years ago by a credit agency. I have finished paying them off 3 months ago. the civil suit is in my public records on my credit report. How can I have that negative information removed

Can a collection agency threaten criminal charges for a defaulted payday loan. Can I be arrested for default on Payday loan?

Several years ago I took out a payday loan in WI (QuickCash) in the amount of 200 i repayed over 300 in "finance charges, couldn't keep up stopped paying. It went to a collection agency for about three yrs I went back and forth with them, asked them to take me to court because I disagree with the amount they are trying to get (over 4,000).

heres the story. i had a bank account with wamu. it was overdrawn for $240. couldnt pay it back they charged it off and reported me to checksystems. i payed it back and rite after that i applied for a boa campus edge checking account. at first they didnt automatically approve it they said it was gonna need further proccessing and then a day later, they approved it. i've had it, for about a week now and its working good. well 2 days ago i opened one at commerce bank and i gave them the deposit and they took it and gave me some temporary checks.

what is the difference of filling bankruptcy or debt consolidation.I have bills and repo.What should I do.

is it possible to go after previous loans that were overpaid? maybe get them to apply overpayment to the new loan?
