Hi there, HELP!!! I have unfortunately gotten myself into a bind and owe about $2200.00 in cash advance payday loans. Can anyone please tell me how to get out of this and maybe consolidate? Thanks!

I think I asked the forum about this a while back and no one seemed to know the answer, the same for another forum..... anyhow, I spoke with a CA today that told me that if the rating of R-9 was showing up for a charge offed account, and that if it has been settled, it should show up as an R-UR which translated to unrated. I just thought that this was interesting to know and look for on my settled accounts.

I'm attempting to obtain a loan to purchase a car and was denied because a collection account appears on my credit report. This is from Palisades Collection Agency and it claims I owe AT&T Wireless over $1150! I' have never even had a cell phone from AT&T Wireless... I was a victim of Identity theft and have lawler documentation to prove it and I believe this person is still using my identity and is once again commiting fraudulent charges which are affecting me. Is my identity theft report supposed to show up on my credit report? How can i fix this!? Anyone?

One Click Cash (OCC) finally responded to my BBB complaint I made on 10/8/08. They are offering to settle for $140 which is what the actual loan balance is if I pay by moneygram by 10/31/08. If I do not pay by then it will be $355. My question is, I also made a complaint with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance and I will also make a complaint with the FTC regarding them issuing pdl's to residents of Maryland illegally. Should I wait to hear a response from them, or just go and settle the account?

I terminated services with this no good, no help company last May. Two days ago they automatically withdrew money from my checking account and overdrew it. Does anyone have information for me to join the class action suit? Thank you!!!

Hi, most of the comments are from people who actually did borrow money.. But i'm 99% sure I didn't borrow a dime! The guy called me from a blocked number and told me that i had to pay now and that otherwise he'd take me to court. He started getting violent and yelling because I said I couldn't hear him and needed some time to contact the company etc... I said if i owed i would pay but i have no idea what he is talking about. he knew my name, my phone number and my school email. Now why the hell would i take out a loan for 786 *********.

I thought I was lucky enough to not have all my credit cards go into collections but Emerge held in there and told me that for 191.oo per month, they would keep me out of collections but now they refuse to negotiate any type of settlement. I have read that once emerge sends to collections, they take you to court right away.... Anyone out there dealt with them before?

Here is my situation. I got locked up when I was younger and ruined my credit. Chargeoffs out the ying yang, and a repo which happened after the fact due to a not so truthful relative. Well, I got an auto loan last year as a co-buyer hoping this would help my score go up. Well, it didn't...The payment were late just about every month and were at one time in repo, where I just took over and got it back up to date. My score suffered going from low 600's to low 500's.
