Well ho hum, I received a fax today from a Medical financial lender- which my company uses (and has used for years), to extend credit to help pay off their medical debts, and to use strictly for medical services. The fax stated they were suspending it's consumer finance program and will hopefully be able to reopen at such time the National crisis is resolved! How upsetting for those who use this credit card for needed medical services! :shock:

What is the best way to make a payment to a lawfirm? I was planning to send a check to them. They aren't willing to work with me but I'm going to try and pay anyway. Is a check the best method? This way I can have a record of it.

I wanted some advice on how to handle these calls. I know it is a scam and have just not been answering the phone or returning their calls, but today it got out of hand. They called my cell 4 times in a row before finally leaving a message and then called my work number. I answered the phone, not giving my name, and told them that I wasn't here today. I would actually like to file complaints against them, but not sure where to do that as the numbers they call from are different numbers.

I am so glad I found this forum. I am struggling with 6 payday loans right now (I live in Ohio). I have had these same loans for almost a year now (no rollovers but keep going back to the same SF lenders and paying and reloaning over and over :O ) I am so stressed out and have been paying about $800 to $1000 per month just in fees to keep the loans afloat. I am thinking about asking these companies for EPP but not sure what their response will be....Here are the companies and the amounts...can someone tell me if these companies will work with me or hassle me about this?

good morning, all. this morning i got a voice mail from someone claiming to be national lega case. a lot of noice in the background, and did not sound profession at all. i google the company name with no luck then googled the number only came up as some phone number in Clovis California.

We need some help. My husband and I currently owe 5 payday loans, we have had them for quite some time but each payday we must reborrow in order to pay our bills. We owe 3 for 400.00, one for 600.00, and one for 150.00. This past payday we couldn't pay all of them so we paid 3 off, reborrowed and well, the other two are about to come after us. We live in Ohio, and these were from stor front lenders. It should also be noted that we only had to give 2 of them checks as collateral.

I had a credit card with Chase that went bad and went to 3rd party collections. When my account went sour, I opened a new account with Washington Mutual where I've been trying to keep up good standing. Now that Chase bought Wamu, can I expect any action against my good account with Wamu?
