I recently found out after my dad had sold his business that he is in a huge debt. I opened his online accounts and found that he has about 5 credit cards/loans from Bank of America, 2 from Wells Fargo, and another from Discover. These cards each have about 20K debt, totaling to 132K. The minimum payments for all of these cards come out to be 4K/month.

I was not very informed about this important topic before. After catching this dentitytheftdaily.com site I can be alerted to everything related to identity theft.

Is Mitchell N. Kay a reputable law office that handles debt and collections or is it a scam? I have a desire to pay my account balance but, I would like to be certain about them before I pay anything.

How do I remove a posting?

I have been fighting Midland for the past 4 years in regards to their tactics and listings on the credit report. Thought I had one (they had all been removed about two months ago) then they started up again last month. For some reason, the original creditors are still listed as well even though their dates are well past 7 years. When I phoned the original creditors they said they would stay on there as long as Midland kept them on there. Confusing, but okay. Well, Midland has picked up calling again, listing on my credit report fictious amounts with a one month term.

After reviewing info on the web, I think that a debt management program would be the most useful to my needs? Can anyone recommend a relable. honest compnay? Thank you, Perplexed

Question:what's the different between these two companies, if any? there are several blogs about WWAP,LLC but none for WWAP II, LLC, who claim to be the current creditor. The letter is from and on Capital Management Services, LP in Buffalo, NY letterhead. They are the ones I am to contact for validation or to set-up payment arrangements. If WWAP,LLC are connected to WWAP II, I am weary of dealing with them. But on the same hand want to resolve since they seem to file judgements & get them. Any help would be appreciated!

I currently have an arm coming due in 2010 on my home and will need to refinance my loan If I enroll in a debt consolidation program, will I still be able to refinance my loan while I'm enrolled in the debt consolidation / restructuring program?
