Had vehicle in BK financed with Franklin Capital - they did not file the paperwork so loan was discharged in BK in Jan 2011 - Turned vehicle in to them in June 2011, once realized that they had not filed paperwork correctly and loan was discharged in BK and that they were no longer reporting any of my payments to the credit agencies as on time or even being made!

I was stupid and we needed the money fast. I took the 2600 loan in August and have paid three payments. We were thinking we would sell some of our farm assets to repay the loan within a couple months. However, as our luck normally goes it didn't work that way. I revoked ACH and closed my account. They have only responded by email that they honored my request. Got the first call this morning. They want $50 today to "hold" the account. They say they have to have that $50 today to work with me. I can pay this off when I get my income tax return.

I have three payday loans with legal companies in Ohio, where I live. I read online that the max amount you can get on a PDL in Ohio is $500. Two of my loans are for $800. I am unable to make the payment on them right now and I tried to get a settlement out of them but they basically won't work with me. I am hoping to get a part time job to supplement my full time job so that I can pay them off. If I default, how long would it take for them to put a judgement against me. Would I have a month before it would get that far? Is there anything I can do since they let me borrow an illegal amount?

Let me start off by saying that we paid off ALL our consumer debt a year ago August. It tanked our credit, but we are debt free. Well except for an erroneous tax debt stemming from my husband's identity theft in Nov. 2000, that is -- we've been fighting this for nearly 12 years now. Yes, I have proof of all of this -- fraudulent w-2's, letters from those companies stating my husband NEVER worked for them and PIF letters from all our former creditors. And CR showing all debts "paid as agreed". Wednesday morning, I got a call from an Andre Davis asking for my husband.

I have several payday loans and little to no money left every month after I pay them off. How can I stop this cycle and stop them from taking almost all of my paycheck? I live in New Jersey and am trying to do a little research on it but am unsure/unclear about a lot.

I was talking to a friend of mine and she said that internet PDL's are illegal in my state. I'm thinking though that QLOOT is a legal loan since it's an installment loan. Sorry for this long post.... On 8/1/2012 I received the $2600 loan ($2525 deposited) from Western Sky. A few days later the loan was transferred to Cash Call (go figure). I have paid a total of $881.42 in three payments to date but I cannot afford the payments of $294.46 any more. After finding this website I discovered that tribal laws are illegal and furthermore in Pennsylvania they are an unlicensed lender and unlicensed lenders in PA are subject to a 6% interest cap.

I have 2 payday loans which are 300.00 and 450.00. The service charge is 30.00 per 100.00 borrowed. What is the best solution for reducing or eliminating these fees?

I started getting calls from 714-935-1955 -shows WS Associates on ID, on around the 5th of Dec... Not sure who they are - I have tried to call back and it has you enter your phone number and then asks for a PIN or press something else to leave a message.. I have researched online and only found a insurance company in CA with the same name, and number is off by one digit - 714-935-1956?? Thought I would see if anyone else had gotten calls from them? I am dealing with WS/CC -- thought it may be related?
