I had Sears account that was sold to Resurgence Capital recently. I recieved first statement from Resurgence fist week of July 2008. I sent my DV letter on 7/25/08 and USPS delivery confirmed on 7/28/08. I have not recieved any respons from Resurgence on DV as of today 9/5/08. On 8/30/08, I recieved first statement from other collection agency in Ohio on same account. On 8/29/08, my equifax credit report alerted me for LNLV (Resurgence Capital )opend collection account. But I do not see CA in Ohio on my credit report yet. What should I do next?

Hello all. I have overpaid on 2 rollover loans through the internet. 500 fast cash and b&l marketing. I live in ohio and I have just found out that rollovers are illegal here. Tomorrow I plan to either close my account or put a debit block on it. Will they harass me for doing this? I definitely DO NOT want my employer contacted over this bs. Especially since the loans are paid in full considering the rollover fees have definitely more than covered the principle amount borrowed. Does anybody have any info on these companies?

I currently have four payday loans and my bank account is negative $400 how can i stop this vicious cycle? one of the loans I have is with cashadvancenetwork, the ACH was returned unpaid because of NSF, but they keep sending it through Everyday! and every day its another $30 fee from my bank it never ends if I revoke ACH authorization,can they print a check on my behalf and submit it for payment? should i close my bank account?

I've been avoiding assorted debts for over 15 years. Bouncing from residence to residence, job to job, etc... I could keep going for the rest of my years, but I want a real life, a family, stability and a big TV. I've been at the same job for about 18 months now, garnishments have started and I don't have any accounting of the debts being collected. I know Asset Acceptance is involved, they've been the worst hound after me all these years, they've gone as far as to threaten having a Sheriff enter a friends home and auction their property.

Got a call from 'Sharon' and told her that I'd fax & send a cease and desist. She said, "I don't care, it doesn't pertain to me, I'll keep calling...I'm getting my money." She then called back two minutes later. Talked to our payroll dept and they said without a court order, they'd tell PDY Loan Yes to take a long walk off a short pier. Anyone have Sharon's fax number and mailing address? Please help!!!

It seems HK has learned from their mistakes and now has a big elaborate scheme going on on the net. But I spent time going through all these sites and found out that they have set up more sites with different names promoting their debt settlement scheme. If you read the sites they are the same dribble as HESS KENNEDY. The Guy named Edward that advocated for HK in this forum is back along with his surrogate mopes to fool you. BEWARE
