how do u stop companies looking at my credit report without my permission?

I am in Alabama and have heard Payday Max aka Credit Protection Depot is Illegal in all states, is this true? I received an email this morning stating they will take legal action against me. the loan amount was 160, I have paid 152.96. They are wanting another 337.00$. If they are not licensed to lend in my state do I have to pay them more than what I originally borrowed?

Hi, I had a roomate that opened up a account in my name. He used my social security number and opened a at&t phone account. Anyway, we both did use the service, then they charged us for a modem we already had, then our apartment was hit by lightning, then they charged us a service fee for a problem to the line that was not our fault and they didn't tell me they would charge us. Until they sent us the bill, where they charged us for the service when we didn't have it for a month and the lightning hit us again.

I took out a cash adavance/payday loan over the internet for $100.00 back in 2005.

I have dug a big hole for myself and have multiple payday loans both online and store front. Here is a list and the state and city I am in. please help!

I received a call today from a Mr Davis who claimed to be from the legal dept. at the First Nat'l Bank of Delaware. His call was nothing but threatening and he told me that since I stole money, he would report me to the PA Atty General's office. What a jerk! I ran a check on the number that he called from and it comes from Payday-Loan-Yes.......not some legal dept. at a bank. What is he trying to pull anyway? From what I have been seeing they are an illegal PDL. I have already paid them back more than I have borrowed. Has anyone else had the same phone call or dealings with these people?

Look at your bank statements and add up the amounts which were debited from your account so far.
