Im in CA and I have taken out loans I am in over my head! trying to keep up told cash call Im filing 13BK but i still have cashline and cashnet USA ,do I need to inform them now or keep struggling to pay?

Do PDLs affect my income:debt ratio, my credit score, or even show up on a credit report? I am in the process of taking care of them (I am in NY and am sending out the letters, etc about them being illegal). When they call me do I just tell them that I have found them to be illegal or should I just ignore the phone calls? Thank you.

Does anyone have a link to a website that will show me if Western Sky is legal in South Carolina? I'm being told that it's not, but I want solid proof before I contact them. Or perhaps someone can tell me who to call to find out if they're legal. I'm kinda new to this whole thing and don't even know where to start. Thanks!

I live in SC. I have 2 installment loans right now. One from Plain Green and one from WesternSky/CashCall. I've had 2 previously with Plain Green and paid them off early and never had a problem. I had one with Western Sky last January and paid it off the first week of February, no problem. It was only after reading a bunch of posts in this forum did I realize these loans may be illegal. I took the Plain Green loan out on 2/1/12 for $2200. I've made 19 payments of $124.02 so far, which totals: $2356.38. The balance, according to them, is: $1548.31.

Hello forum members - I've made a PDL mess and need some advice. I have five outstanding PDLs all from internet providers: $900 from Plain Green Loans. I've made two payments of $123 $500 from PayDayMax. I've made two payments of $99 $500 from United Cash Loans. I've paid off the principle but stuck with fees and the like. Still owe $320. $400 from US Fast Cash. No payments made yet $400 from Ameriloan.

Hi, I have found this forum sooo helpful! I have been dealing with the awful payday cycle hell for about 2 years now on and off.

I currently live in Oklahoma and I have one payday loan with them. I did my research and found out that Oklahoma requires the lender to be licensed in the state before they can loan. I looked and found out that eastside lenders is NOT licensed in Oklahoma. So I sent them an email and stating this information and also informed them they are no longer allowed to ACH debit my checking account. Here is there response: East Side Lenders, which is located in Delaware, is licensed by the State of Delaware to make small loans.
