I have an outstanding balance of $822.50 with CASHNET USA. I've paid $490 with represents 122.50 for 4 refinance periods. I am a valued cutomer so instead of the normal $175 fee which would have been $700 in finance fees, I rec'd a discount and had to pay the $122.50 for a total of $490. The $822.50 I owe represents $700.00 principal and $122.50 finance charges. Following is the e-mail I just rec'd from them after sending them a letter.

I have been trying to dig myself out of the payday loan trap for the past couple of months. I have closed my bank account and sent letters to all PDLs revoking ACH authorization, C&D letters, etc. I have overpaid on most of them, including Payday-Loan-Yes. My loan was for $350, and I have paid a total of $680. I received a call at my work the other day (even though the letters I've sent told them not to contact me at work.) I got her name and called her back after work. The lady says I owe over $400. I told her I had already overpaid them, and they should be issuing me a refund!

I havent been here in a few months but wanted to give hope to everyone fighting a SOL lawsuit brought on by a CA. I just got word that a lawsuit filed against me by CACH has been dismissed (due to go to court next week). Im guessing that since this was a SOL case then CACH was hoping for a default judgement.

I have recently joined this website and have found a lot of great information. I have joined my local CCCS office to get rid of my payday loans all of them have excepted CashCall (no surprise there). I called them today and they were rude and nasty...nothing new...and I told them that I joined CCCS and they said we don't deal with 3rd party at all. So I said well I would like to do a settlement and they said we don't do that...and I said really I have read that you do..so she says I will transfer you to that department.

What is their phone number. I need to get a hold of them

I feel a little funny telling my story on here but I will put it here because perhaps someone can relate and it might give them hope. My debt started when i got my first credit card my freshman year of college. It was an American Express Blue Student card and my college heavily advertised for them. I had several other cards, nothing too major but than the depression I struggled with my whole life took over and I made some poor decisions of who to spend my time with.

Has anyone ever used Loan Modification Companies if so how did it go? And who was the company?

I have answered the summons from Discover Card (Howard Lee Schiff), and now ready to go to the Discovery process. I have looked around for any sample Interrogatories questions, but couldn’t find any. I am in MA, if anyone has done this before, any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I just received an email from BMG - unfortunately the amount they gave me doesn't match up with any of the PDL loans I have. Any idea which PDL's they may be connected with?
