I currently have 7 internet payday loans from the following companies: The Loan Shop: 500, paid 160** ZIP19.com: 400, paid 0 discountadvances: 210, paid 18.38 PAYDAYYES: 200, paid 445 Ameriloan:200, paid 525 USFastCash:250, paid 75** **I have taken out more than one loan with the loan shop and usfastcash. The amounts I paid on previous loans, in the case of usfastcash, would completely cover my current loan. I would still owe the loan shop about $200. I would like to know if each of these companies is illegal.

Can debt collectors or even law firms call you on the weekends

Could somebody please provide me a copy of a C and D Letter? What are the consequences that I might face my sending my creditors a C and D Letter? I'm so tired of all the harassing calls like most everyone one else here!

Anyone know who this number belongs to? They left a message on my answering machine and I couldn't understand the name. They said that they are a rep at a law firm that has been authorized to settle a pending case against me and told me to use the case number as my reference number. They said that they have been authorized to "work" with me before they turn it over to one of their attorneys or the courts..... This seems very suspicous to me.... I wonder if they are just trying to scare me into calling them so they can harass the heck out of me like other companies have...

If other valuable items of personal property were in the car at the time of the repossession, can the creditor keep the items or resell them to satisfy the debt?

I have 38,000 in credit card debt in California It has been 4 years and I have just got served for a 3,000 claim I have contacted the lawyer and they were not interested in making a settlement they said that I now owe 6,000 and would not take less then 5,000 I am worried that the other creditors may be following in suing me and I am thinking about using debt free financial any advice on this company? and if I act now can I keep the other creditors from suing me ?
