I am being sued for repo ed car. I offered 4,000 of 8,000 owed they said 7,000 is what they would take. Will they come closer to my number when court grows closer?

Has anyone used them before for debt settlement? I can't find a lot on these forums related to them.

I recently closed my bank account due to losing a purse and to try to get away from PDLs which I am overloaded with.. With the fees and the pay downs - I could not make the payments. I am curious what companies are legally licensed in the state of fl. I have loans with: ameriloan - 200.00 borrowed - 240.00 paid back in fees Zip Cash - 300.00 borrowed - 270.00 paid back in fees MyCashNow - 340.00 borrowed - 316.55paid back in fees ThinkCashNow - 750.00 borrowed - 77.09 int/8.14prin As far as I have found out, it is only legal to have one payday loan in the state of fl. What can I expect?

Hello all, I am glad that I stubled across this site. Long story short I was hurt on the job, and currently recieve Workers Comp and SS disability. To make matters worse we then lost everything in Katrina and had to start over with my income substantially reduced, and my wife's income also reduced due to getting a job that paid less than her pre-hurricane employment. We eventually fell behind on our credit card payments, and owe 3 credit card companies a lot of money. We just recieved a summons on one account and are being sued for $7,000+ 2 years of interest at 8%.

I, over the past 5-6 years or so, have started 3 work from home businesses. Personalized cartoons, personalized name gifts and personalized greeting cards/invitations. All required start up costs and all that stuff, advertising, web sites, supplies. All have been abandoned. I am now a self employed nail technician. That also required quite a bit of start up costs, besides the education. I have $34000 in CC debt. I am current on my payments, but business is very slow. I am looking at settlement, I think.

ever hear of vr tech??promise to reduce debt etc..also encouraging u to recruit other people as well...help

10% taken every week from my pay and is making it harder to pay all other expenses..is it possible to ask that this amount be reduced?

This morning, I deleted numerous posts by a guest which named several Moderators and Debt Samaritans making inflammatory remarks. The posting style was oddly familiar. It seemed obvious to me whoever it was just wanted to stir the pot and make trouble. I just wanted to let you all know in case it continues to happen. :?

I am totally shocked to learn that Bernie Mac has died at the young age of 50 years old. I loved him...he was great I am going to miss him :cry:
