Hello! I have been receiving calls on my cell from an unknown number. They have left threatening messages saying I have charges pending in my county for check fraud. I have not returned these. So last week ignore the numerous calls to my work phone. They then proceed to call my school office and tell them they are serving me a summons they need the protocol for doing it. The office manager comes and gets me and says they want to talk to me.

I noticed LVNV on my credit report, please advise exactly what credit card company this applies to. Thank you.

OK, my debt is 150 days past due with it being charged off around 12/23. I spoke to Capital One who is not offering me a realistic settlement option. Principal balance is $10,000 but about $11,000+ with interest and late fees. They offered about $8200 which is too high. I read one can get 50-65% settlement. Should I make a final attempt a few days prior to being charged off to see if they can offer a better settlement? Or just wait to charge off and deal with the collection agency? Chase offered settlement after 90 days.

There is no where on my bill which says that I owe money to anyone. Please be a little clearer on your statements.
