I received a letter from my State of IL AG office today, which was very nice to have this office on my side, and I am not sure if the contents of the letter is good or bad for me. The story is that in Nov. of 2006 (I have had my car financed with WFAF since 7/11/2003), Wells Fargo Auto Finance decided to change everyones account number for some unknown reason.

I think this has been talked about before; however, I can't recall what was said regarding it. If a CA calls and the number in the CID shows up as spoofed (IE intentionally made up to mislead) isn't that illegal? I'm cat/dog sitting for my Mother and she received a call the other day that showed up as "Twin Cities, MN - 952-996-0000." I thought it might have been one of the CA's that had called her before, looking for me, even though my number is still the same and still active. Hello I am in Illinois and have a couple of questions. I had a car that was repossessed, and right before the SOL expired, I was served with papers that I was being sued by Blitt & Gaines. I called them before court to try to settle out of court, but could not come up with the lump payment they needed, and they wouldn't accept payments. So I go to court, and afterwards I meet with the lawyer and we set arrangements up for ACH monthly payments. Paid on time for a year and 1/2. Well, I have had some financial difficulties, and now my payment is 2 months behind. What happens now?

:) Hey I am back to say that I worked with my bank and I did get my account closed...there was a misunderstanding and I just so happen to be friends with a VP at the bank(which absolutely killed me to have to admit to her that I made a huge mistake)...The bank not only closed my account but also did an ACH return on all payday loans that came out 2 weeks ago and refunded the money back into my account. Now I just need to know where to go from here...all advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

My wife borrowed from this "organizaton" and the amount of withdrawals they have made from her bank account has caused her to become $1,150.00 in the hole. The customer service # (1-800-282-5450) dials into a company called "Bio Health Essentials Customer Care Center. What do we do? I s it legal to reverse the ACH at the bank?

My loans are in Texas and I have questions on how to proceed with them. United Cash Loans - $500 Principal - I have had numerous loans with this company and I have paid them $1000's over the pricipal borrowed. Nationwide Cash - $300 Princial - I have paid fees totalling over $300. CashSpot - $300 Principal - I have paid fees totalling over $300. Everyone here was very helpful with getting my bank account closed. I have negotiated terms with all of the other CSO's I had. I don't know what to do with these last three?

Update time. Recently my youngest son has turned 7 and I had my 13th wedding anniversary as well. I am still looking for employment and I have one last shot at a job I want before I take a job that will just make ends meet this Tuesday. If it doesn't work out I'm going to take my own advice I've handed to debtors many times over.. go work where you know you can get a job 100%. The problem with my last two interviews was that I made too much money at my last job. I was happy to take a pay cut and I told them it would be no problem at all.

ohio statutes- correct me if Im wrong Ohio Statutes of Limitation Written or oral account: 6 years, (O.R.C. §2305.07). To me dr/hospital bills would fall under this...they are a written ACCOUNT Written contract: 15 years, (O.R.C. §2305.06). A written contract would tend to be something like a LOAN- set pmts, interest, etc... Im questioning this because I interpret this to mean hospital bills would fall under the six years as this is an account...

I am a recent 'victim' of Loan Shop Collection's practices of debiting a bank account for past monies owed to them... with no authorization or warning. I've posted about this several times and thanks to the kind people on this board, I've learned that what LTS Management/XPress Cash did was illegal. I found William Mashburn's contact information on this board and emailed him about my situation.
