does anyone know if town and country acceptance also includes surure debt like car payments? your help will be appriciated.

My ex had a $326 state tax lien in California that was filed 12/97 while we were still married. I took out a loan 6/06 and found out about the lien which I paid just to get it off my record. How many years before it will be off my record, or is it even affecting my credit scores now?

How do I handle papers that I received today about a collection company issuing a civil suit against me? i make payments to the company, but they sent this to me today.

Thought I'd start this thread over here, as someone had posted a request for a phone number for CashZip in the creditor's address book forum and someone posted back about only being able to find an email address. I'm curious to know if anyone has overpaid this company and successfully negotiated with them to pay off a loan. I have borrowed from them since 2003 and paid thousands of dollars in overpayments (I know, I know...). They are based in SD, and are licensed there as M3 Internet Services. They are not licensed in NM, where I am.

As some of you may remember I decided to start taking the bus to work. I now am a regular customer of the Pinellas Suncoast Transit System here in Tampa Bay. No gas needed. No stress. No one has called me number one with the wrong finger. I get cardio walking the half mile back and forth also. But it does have its moments. The first day the bus arrives on US 19 in Clearwater right on time. I get on and swipe my daily Go Card. There is one seat in the back so I take it. After two stops the bus is already half empty so I move to a better seat. No one talks, some sleep.

I live in IL and have 9 payday loans out. I am in over my head and don't know what to do. I have been paying on all of them, but it seems to be getting nowhere. On my last bank statement there are more ACH debits than there should be and I am now left with a negative balance. I know the debits that I should have and I am not sure how these other companies got my info. I really don't know what to do. Anyone please help

I am currently involved with a consolidation company. They have failed to make arangements with the CAs regarding my old accounts that I would like to pay off. I am seriously considering bankruptcy because I was just sued for one of them. Is a settlement company best for me or bankruptcy? All together I owe back approx $8,000 for all of them. I spoke to a bankruptcy lawyer and he said, of course, to file bankruptcy. I don't know what to do. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
