has anyone tried to negotiate with cashtransfercenter.com. i have a loan and will be unable to the amount due.

How do I find out if a particular internet pdl is licensed to lend money? I'd appreciate anyone's assistance!

I just wanted to give a quick update on Kyle. He is doing well in school. He said as it stands right now, he should graduate from school around Sept 29th. At that time he will get to come home for 2 weeks, work for the recruiter though, before he has to report to his duty station. He has gotten his orders, although he is going to see if he can trade with someone. His orders have him going to Nellis AFB in Nevada. From what he said, it is right outside of Las Vegas. No he doesn't want to be there.

I really blew it this month. I began the month with inadequate funds to make it until my next payday, so I started gambling. Of course, I lost money. So what did I do? I started taking out payday loans and gambling with the proceeds. I finally "wisened up" and took some other drastic measures. I tried to start an online business with my remaining funds from more payday loans. I hit a roadblock, so couldn't start making money.

I just received a call from a collection agency that threatened to have me arrested by the attorney general's office in 2 hours if i did not pay 710.00 immediately. They said i hadn't repaid a bmg load from 2006 and i closed my bank account...does anyone know if this is bogus

once u have judgment against you its too late??correct. AND anyone recommend a lawyer for bankruptcy in new jersey..please...im sinking fast.ty

Received a letter from Encore (CA for GEMB) which stated they would "obtain verification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgement..." Judgement? This sounds like court action. Since I can't pay this anyway, how do I respond?

Does anyone have any tips on settling a debt with GeMoneyBank or Encore (their CA). They have sent me bills for two accounts generated by a deceased girlfriend. She apparently put my name on them. GEMB does not respond to my letters. I have been holding my income tax money to settle, but the accounts just get bigger and bigger. Can anyone help me?

My husband and I are planning to meet with an attorney sometime during the next couple of weeks regarding filing chapter 7. I'm wondering what happens after the petition is filed, during the months before the final discharge. Does the court monitor your income and expenses during that time? Do they control your funds? The reason that I ask is because we will probably have some seasonal income during the next two or three months. That's why we decided to file now while our income level for the past six months still meets the means test.
