Hi I just joined the forum and was wondering how can I get from under the payday loan cycle. This is killing me financially. Any suggestions?

Can someone point me to a post detailing the specific language to use when I call my credit cards to ask for a lower apr? I'm having a tough time finding this info anywhere . My FICO is good, and my accounts are in good standing. I just need to know the best wording to use when I call them. Thanks!

I was struck. Several years ago, I was sucked into the cash loan vacuum. At the time, I was never smart with my money and found myself in one financial bind after another which just snowballed when I began taking out cash loans. Since then, I've paid them off and thought that bad time was in the past. Flash forward to today... I have a much higher paying job and a new checking account. However, my car suddenly needed massive work and instead of turning to credit cards (which I worked hard to pay off), I decided to use my checking account. The payment left me a little in the mud.

I closed my checking account that I wrote postdated checks to PDL companies. Now one of them has found my joint account w/my husband and they are taking payments out...is there anything i can do to stop it? I won't have enough to make my house payment if they continue!

to whom it may concern, i would like to know how about to get my @&%$$#@ refund from debt relief usa? i have called and left messages and no one has return my calls. when i called to cancel my account because i chose to go with bankruptcy, i talked with rick zahndow, the acct mgr, and he said that he would take care of the account and close it. i have yet to hear back and its been 4 months!! does anyone know who i need to contact to get my money back from this company?????

I don't know what I did but I must have downloaded music on my page...I hate that song and don't know how to get rid of it...anybody know? How do you download music that other people have on their page if that is allowed?

My humble opinion, for what it's worth. When stories such as the one below is posted on a public Internet site, such as ours, it should be valid and verifiable by the OP. If the OP is unwilling to post an inactive link (per forum rules) with proof of where these stories were obtained, then it should be removed. News stories which are posted with misleading and incorrect information could lead to some very negative outcomes, in my opinion.

I am looking to fire my current settlement Co. I want to find a company specialized for pre charge off settlement and have fees based on what they settle. My current company charges 20% of what he saves on each account and 55% no fee guaranty. Can any one recommend a such company. I am not interested in pre -paid companies. Graceful debtor
