Is there any way to know who has checked my credit report?

Is there any organization that can help me with consolidation and settlement? I have 5 debts but I can’t repay all of them. I have heard about consolidation and settlement though I don’t know it 100%. I can repay the outstanding balance of some but not all of them. Need help to solve this debt problem. How to decide, when should I go for a company? How to choose?

Hi, I am currently helping out a friend who has taken out a couple loans and is in a bit of trouble due to unforeseen circumstances. We currently reside in Tennessee, and my friend has taken out loans with Zocaloans aka Rosebud Lending and Speedy Cash. After doing some research, I have found that Zocaloans/Rosebud is a tribal lender and does not have a license per the TN Dept. of Financial Institutions, and I believe because of that it means that they are operating illegally.

I am seeking a definitive answer as to if tribal loans are illegal in Michigan. Due to a sudden illness I was without income suddenly and for a few months. I was unable to obtain a traditional loan so relied on tribal installment loans. I am aware that this is not wise but had no alternative option. I am seeing conflicting information as to if these loans are legal as a Michigan resident. I plan on honoring paying the principle but cannot afford the biweekly payments. Please advise.

I took an installment loan of $2,000 from CC approximately 3’ish years ago, and now because of interest owe around ~$4,000 (according to Credit Karma). What are the chances of them ACTUALLY sueing me and giving me papers? I live in San Diego and would appreciate any input.

I thought of taking the help of this forum for my friend Carolyn who had already filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy bankruptcy from credit card debts about 2 years back. She is again facing problems with her personal loans. She is wondering whether or not she can file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. How soon can you file Chapter 13 or 7 after Chapter 7?

My wife signed up with a state University in mid 2010. My health condition deteriorated greatly at the same time so she only attended two days and just stopped going. I have a chronic rare illness expected to result in death. Because she was young, she neglected paying it or dropping out. She owed $6200. Her state taxes were garnished the next year or so leaving $5900 owed. Then we never heard from it again.
