If I'm not hiding from a creditor, meaning I talk to them often, then they start calling my references, can I send them some type of letter telling them to stop calling the references and do they have to adhere to my request, if they don't adhere is there somewhere I can complain to about that? I have some questions about being sued by a creditor. What actually happens when they sue you? Can you give me a play-by-play? Also I've been told they can only get the apr amount that ones state's limits are set at. How can I find out what my states limits are, I'm in OHIO? Usually how long/or far past due you are when/before they sue you. Thanks Reny

Wamu bank does use chexsystems. i just tried to open an account and was informed they could not open account due to whatwas reporting from chexsystems.

I tried to find out some info on this law office that had contacted my Dads house in regards to me. They would tell my Dad much. But my Dad said that it sounded like some sort of settlement case. That struck me as very odd, because: 1. I reside in Ca, the company is in Ma. 2. I haven't lived at my Dads house or anywhere near there for over 11 years. 3. I have been involved in anything that would result in a settlement. So I was baffled. I tried to call them but it being the weekend I got a weird message system.

I have had trouble logging in my account, so I created a new account (after requesting a new password and not getting it sent to me) (and sending e-mails to the names listed on the "help" page). Now the new login won't let me log in either. I went through the same process of requesting a new password (didn't get it) and sent e-mails (no response). Every time I set up a new account, I have to set up a new yahoo account for an e-mail, plus I lose my debtcc points. Any suggestions???

I received a summons to appear in court regarding a credit card they said i opened in 2000.Citicard of South Dakota. I quickly ran my credit report. and they or they number is no where to be found on my report or this company in anyway. I sent a letter to validate the loan certified and a follow-up letter because I never receid a response. I been in court 2 times already and these attorneys can not validate this debt, there are no records of statements, applications,or anything with my signature.

I am using someone else's laptop for the day, if this was a pc I would know how to fix it but it isn't. The mouse for this laptop has stopped working. Not the finger touch pad but the mouse.. it kinda works.. the clicker buttons work, not the scroll button and when you move it the pointer dissapears.. any ideas on how I can fix this before my mom finds out? :) hehe
