I was recently sued by a debt collectors attorney. They dropped the charges and I got a judgment of dismissal from the court. This debt has not been proven to be mine and I am thinking of sending the debt collector a 30 day demand to remove themselves from my credit report or I will file a lawsuit. I did sent a DV letter almost 30 days ago but they are still reporting on me. They are charging 18% interest when they don't have the original contract and the max in my state is 12%.

Anybody here seen it? It currently running on ShowTime (I believe) Even Bud Hibbs is in it, a name I've seen mentioned here quite a few times. I recommend it to a anyone struggling with credit card debt. It's an eye-opener on how corporate america is financially ruining average hard working people in order to line their own pockets, and how our own greedy government protects corporate America in the process - something we all know has been happening for quite some time. The arrogant pompus humanity-lacking collectors were truly obnoxious and arrogant - no surprise there.

I am having problem myself, I close my account therefore the company had no choice but to mail a statement with there phone number.

The laws of my state allow for a maximum of $15 for every $100 and no rollovers. I have rolled over the loan 3 times and paid a total of $270 . Am I allowed to deduct $135 from the principle considering they have overcharged me $45 for 3 different rollovers

I was reading through some threads and noticed that one of the email addresses for GRC was listed as [email]xxxx@loanpointusa.com[/email]....I was under the impression that loan point usa and loan shop were the same....not loanpoint and GRC!!

I try and keep a fair amount of opinions to myself. It's safer that way and honestly I don't want to open myself up to past mistakes. This might be blunt so if you don't like the way I post already I doubt you will like it now either. What the hell is going on?! I mean seriously!? Being as moderator is a job, an unpaid one but it is a job. I'm all for gossip and hurt feelings and people being able to express themselves but if it is about the upper management of the job then do it privately through PM's, email or phone calls.
