I want to thank all of the moderators on this site. I have a total of four credit cards and a car loan I fell behind in paying due to some illegal payday loans. With the help of this site I not only have been able to deal with the illegal loans but talk with my legitimate creditors and work out a plan that will have me back in track in a few months without having to go to collections!!!! Are C&D letters only for collection agencies or can you use them for illegal tribal lenders? Also, does the do not call regulation apply to illegal loans or just the collection agencies. I would like to know before sending one and looking as ignorant as they are. :rolleyes:

i received a loan for 500. they've been taking 150 out of my banking account and so far it totals to 750. I called them and to see what my balance is and they said its 617.50! They told me they've only been taking out the finance fee and if i wanted to pay the loan off i had to call them to do so. this doesn't sound right to me, is it?
