My friends ss# end with 75, which we think she should be getting her rebate Friday, but when we check the irs site, it still says nothing. Has anyone had any luck with updates?

Ok, for those who may not know, I have a second job at my local concert venue, and our season opened for the summer last week. We started with Duran Duran on Friday with Simon Lebon in all of his glory and finished the weekend with Rush on Sunday. Duran Duran had this Coldplay wannabe group called Your Vegas opening for them and it was pretty lame. And the crowd was full of 40-somethings dressed like 20-somethings (hang it up, honey!!) AND, one woman actually got on the stage and went for Simon!! We all got in trouble for that one...

Over the past few months, I was sick and couldn't work, but couldn't collect unemployment because I had already used up those benefits several months before. To live, I was forced to open four credit cards. I've accrued $8,000 in credit card debt, $3,000 of which is on 2 non-interest cards, the other $5,000 of which is on 2 standard interest cards. I'm looking for a job right now, income which I desperately need. I don't pay rent as I live with my parents (recent college graduate), I have 25,000 in student loans which ave been deferred, and have a $15,000 auto loan.

Community, Myself and a other person is dealing with this payday loan company that is based out of Colorado. The company will mail checks to your home without your knowledge or permission. The owner is following the laws of South Dakota. He has PO Boxes in the following states: Utah and Colorado. If you or someone you know is dealing with this company. Please contact the Attorney General Office in your home state and the Colorado Attorney General Office as soon as possible.

is there a debt consolidation company out there to help with payday loans?

In March 2007 we got served and we responded within the 14 days and filed it with the Clerk of the Court. We requested all the documents from this company Tri Cap Investment including verification of debt, original documents, etc. They said that we owed over $18,000 for different accounts. Last month we received this notice from the Clerk of the Court with a Notice for Lack of Prosecution where the court is saying that since they (Tri Cap) did not file any motions in almost a year, the court will hold a hearing to dismiss the judgement.

I just received a letter from OSI stating they are attempting to collect a debt from 2000. I got a call from an agent that stated my social security number had been flagged since it was a federal debt to the military exchange whenI was in the Navy. I checked all 3 credit files and there were no public notices. Here is what the letter states: Principal due: $544.68 Interest andPenalties Due: $884.85 Collection Fee: $393.56 Administration Fee: $51.02 Total: $1874.11 Hasn't the statue of limitations expired? Are all of the interest and fees legal?

Check this website out. mychoiceohio Basically for the people who want to email and support not banning the pdl's in ohio. If they only knew what problems the pdl causes. Take a look it is funny. They even have a template email all you have to do is fill in your personal info. Unfortunatly they do not do anything for the illegal internet ones but it is a start.

I need to file BK without my spouse. I have been battling pdl's for months now, and all my credit card debts have gotten seriously behind, about $40,000 worth. I have managed to get 3 PIF's, but the legal pdl's, i still owe a couple thousand.I had to defer my student loan, $19,000, until August of this year because i could not pay. I have received several collection notices and getting some calls at home.
