I just received a phone call from Fox Enterprises regarding a loan I think I had from Geneva Roth Ventures which was a year ago. They say I owe them $390 which I already paid off last year. They said they are going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and take me to civil court. Can they do this and what do I need to do to take care of this? Thanks for your help!!

I received this letter today from my cash now.. keeping in mind this is the only time I've been contacted by them since I sent my letter on the 15 of February. I should have $280.00 I owe them on the original loan... YOUR LOAN WITH MyCashNow IS SERIOUSLY DELINQUENT. IF YOU CONTINUE TO IGNORE THIS DEBT, WE WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO REFER THIS ACCOUNT OVER FOR FURTHER COLLECTIONS. This letter serves as notice that this is a payday loan, and service charges are accrued each day, until the account is paid in full.

Can I do anything about late payments? Like Student loans and car payments? It's made my credit score bad.

I received a civil summons from a PDL attorney. I have been battling with this attorney since Jan. 08 What do I do now...I asked the attorney for proof that they were assigned this debt or I would pay checksmart directly by April 1. Well they never sent proof so I call checksmart corporate office and they told me they could not accept payment because it was in collections - So what do I do. Answer the summons with all the documentation and hopefully the courts will allow me to pay someone and get proof that I paid and by the way this is listed on my credit report.

I got a rude call from a 3rd party called NCA for my CASHNET USA payday loan. So I called CASHNET USA and they said my account was with AIS. Could AIS sold it to NCA? Very rude people.

I am contemplating doing debt settlement, I was just wondering how much can your score go down? And also is it possible for it to go back up? thanks.

Are there any good people out there who have more than they will ever need help someone who is in need with a small child?

Does anyone have any information on this company? My bank account was debited $260 from this company and I have no idea who they are? When I called the number given by my bank, it does not even state the company's name when the phone is answered!!

Sorry for the new thread-but this is a question on a different note. U can deleted if needed mods. If I have my check Direct deposited into my wifes new checking account. Can the PDL companies see my money going into her account eventhough i am nowhere listed on the new account, not even an authorized signer or user? Thanks
