E-Care Contact Centers (cashtranfercenters.com) has sold my debt to a Valentine & Kebartas Inc. Someone told me here once that cashtransfercenters and there affiliates were an illegal company because they operate out of Canada and don't have a lisence to lend money to Washington State? Is that true? What can / should I do?

I have midland credit management (MCM) collecting on one of my old Debts and after I set up payments to them they send me a letter around a week before the post-dated check is due stating when the check is coming out. A fairly normal form letter really. But when is funny to me is the names they use at the 'Signed' part. It was saying 'Danny Thomas' the Supposedly 'Account Manager' that was the name used by the person who would call me with an Indian accent each time another round of checks was due.

Has anyone heard of the company called PDL Assistance? They are supposedly a company that will help you by working with the pdl companies. I looked them up on the BBB. They are listed, but not registered.

I am just about to send in complaints about my PDL's. Mine have all been payed and was hoping they could perhaps get some of my overpayment back. I tried BBB and they were absolutely useless. All the complaints came back either as no response or the company said they did not do business in NJ, even thou my bank, license and address are in NJ! NJ Attorney Generals office has a PO box# should I still send my complaint as certified? Who will sign for it if it is a po box? Thanks

I have 3 payday loans that are 2nd time loans with the first paid off at 250% plus. I am behind on bills and can't afford to pay them. I have only paid the rollover interest this time so far. I live in NJ and heard that they can only charge me 30% interest. If so I have paid both loans with the interest from the other. Also if I close the bank account and they charge me with fraud? please help

I have a friend who she and her husband (for what ever crazy reason) always file their taxes married, seperate. He usually gets a refund normally she is not as lucky. We were chatting over the weekend about the rebate checks and I was telling her if she owes she won't get one. But her question is if her husband didn't owe and with them filling separate, should he still get one??? This is dumb I know, but I told her I had NO idea and would ask you guys:) Thanks Reny

Ok here's the deal. I have 2 PDLS left. One I'm currently on a EPP, the other I'm still paying off and re-loaning. My credit cards are currently a month or so past due. I went to CCCS for advise, they of course suggested the dmp for the CC's. They want me to start mid May. If I don't go with them I can take what would be my first payment to them and just about pay off the loan I keep re-loaning. But then I have an issue with my CC still being another month past due.
