I posted several days back and several before that regarding an issue I'm having with Rannefeld & Associates. So, first... the DV letter -- I do intend to write this week and send it out, though I am afraid this may actually PROMPT them to sue. Secondly, I also contacted the original creditor, who still owns my debt (keep in mind I'd only missed 2 payments before they sent this to the 'law firm'). They still tell me they sent this account to J&E, not Rannefeld & Assoc. Nonetheless, I told them I wanted to make my usual minimum payment...

It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking. Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same room in a hospital. The doctors had suggested to one man to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. Where as the other man had to spend all the day flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end.

settlement

My 26 yr. old daughter just settled a debt for $1400. Original debt was 3239.25 c/o Direct Merchant. We settled with Worldwide Asset Purchasing LLC:cc Protocol Recovery Service. We made arrangements for a post dated check to be drafted on Mar.26. Did we make the right decision? How does this affect her credit? She originally tried to pay this bill through CESI debt management but the creditor would not cooperate. In the meantime she has paid off her other debt through the CESI program.

During the the initial separation and divorce, I had several accounts go into collection (6 or 7). I make a decent income for a single, 28 year old man....about 65k a year. After a costly divorce, I was able to get back on my feet and get all of my old accounts settled.
