I signed a direct deposit form. It was for a one time payment to me. It said I needed to send something in wriing in order to change this. What esactly do I write and send to them so that they do not have permission to use my bank info at all anymore. This was for a direct deposit ,this does not allow them to withdraw money does it?

I have read all the posts and thought you might help. I thought, that after 10 years, it would not show on a credit report. Now that it is showing up can I write to the three credit reporting agencies to get it removed?

Well I just a letter from World Wide Cash stating that even though I owe them $22 they will go ahead and mark my account paid in full. Yeah!! My biggest headaches so far is Interim Cash...they won't answer my emails and I really don't want to talk to them...They owe me so much money it's not even funny...luckily when I took out the loan I was at a different job and now have moved to another....they are threatening to call my job and hr dept....go ahead I no longer work there... has anyone heard of them hassling a work place even though they are not there?

I've been recieving calls on my cell from these people.They've left messages for me to call.I called last night.The person I spoke with said she was looking for Tina Turner??I did put my SS# in--I know Stupid!!!I called again today to find out more info--the person I spoke with was very very rude!!!He would not give me any info--I finally got mad & hung up on him.Should I be worried about my SS#?

Does anyone know a link to where I can find something showing MTE admitting to owning UCL and 500FC? The little worms denied having any affiliation to the Better Business Bureau and I'd like to prove them wrong as easily and definitively as possible. I was thinking a nice example would a link to one of MTE's many court cases, or possibly a pending case with an Attorney General somewhere. Thanks!

I have a letter from a collection agency, Howard Lee Schiff, in response to a letter I sent them, explaining that I was going to sue because they were in violation of the fdcpa. Their reply states that it was not intentional, but a clerical error that caused the violation. They continue, "Notwithstanding, we are willing to pay you the statutory fine of $1,000 to avoid any further disputes regarding this matter. If you are willing to accept this, you will be asked to sign a General Release in favor of our firm and our client releasing any further claims relating to this matter.

I wrote a thread back in december. My husband rec'd a legal looking letter from a law firm, stating we owe something like 5000. to Home Depot. I sent them a DV, and I have heard NOTHING, not a thing back from them. I figured they'd send me at least a copy of bills, or credit app that must have been filled out, right? I got nothing at all. So I decided to check our credit reports, and there's the debt, still an open file, and that ruins our credit.
