Said they cannot assist me because Im in Maryland. She said that you have to use a company that is located in the state of Maryland .. Doggone it! :lol: I guess I should just contact the AG and commissioner of financial regs. If anyone in MD has worked with either office and can offer some advice, could you please share what steps you took? Thanks!

Got an email this morning indicating that the BBB is going to close my case with them. The BBB feels that UsFastCash has made a good faith offer and they can do no more. Good Faith my Aunt Fanny! I think they have overlooked the fact that I have already paid $270 on a $300 loan and they still want an additional $140. So I guess I will be duking this out with UsFastCash myself. Also heard from the Canadian BBB indicating that they have gotten no response from either MyCashNow or PayDayMax so they can't do much about intervening.

My husband has 12 in store payday loans that are all in default as of December 2007, our bank account is closed. We have made payment arrangements with all of them and they have all accepted the arrangements, except for Ace Cash Express. We have been paying Ace each month at their in store location and they have taken those payments. Our original loan was for 575.00 and we are down to 425.00 we still owe. They sent us to their in house collections immediately and they call all the time and are nasty and telling us our payments are mot acceptable, etc.

Hi, I have been paying my student loans off for the last 6 months, they were in default. I have paid off over 6000 dollars in the last 6 months and should have it all paid off by the end of the year. I check my credit report monthly and it has not gone up a point. Can any one answer why it is not going up, I'm around 590. I have sold my car and paid off this as well in less than the 5 years the loan was for. I have disuputed an paid off everything on my report and it is still not going up. I had filed bankcruptcy 5 years ago and these obviously are still on report.

Overwhelmed single mom of 3 with no child support, (recently divorced), disparately seeking direction to mend financial disaster: divorce 'fall out'. Total debt exceeds $70K. Combination cc, taxes & student loans, all past due. I have researched until I am cross eyed: debt settlement, consolidation, cccs, bankruptcy, financial advisor's/planners... & have yet to find a plan I feel good about. I know how I got where I'm at, I know my goals & have already adjusted spending as such.

I really need some help. I have sent the letter to Big Limited not to call me. And for the past two days they keep calling me at work. They are also state that going to send a wage assignment to my employment. I have sent a wage revoke letter to my payroll department. What else can I do? I can not afford to have them keep calling me a work?

Hi,Ive been reading all day and still lost. Short-Had a $500 credit card years ago,went to vegas maxed it out,paid many fees and payments, had bad times couldn't pay, fees gotout of control,shady lawyers pumped it up to$2000 got a judgement against me,I got a lawyer had it set aside,answered interrogatories, then have not heard from collectors for 14 months.But balance on my credit report file grows every month,now $3000 ?-should I sue them for wasting my time and credit or tell the judge it's not right to make me wait while they keep running up the bill. A little over 2 years ago, i let all of my payday loans go-cold turkey because i was past the point of no return. Since then, strangely enough, no one has really bothered me. i changed my bank acct and phone number. However, i recently received a letter in the mail from Credit Collection Services Group stating that if the balance isn't paid in full, they would send a "notice of bad check" to the magistrate or district attorney. It's regarding AIG-PAYDAY LOANS. Has anyone heard of the collection agency or the payday loan group.

Can a CA pull up your credit report on a debt that is not only past SOL, but long past 7 year reporting limit for credit reports? I got some joker CA calling about something from like 13 years ago!!!! and I noticed on my report a few times these people have pulled my credit.
