Hi all, First of all, wanted to apologize for not being on the boards for so long. I am starting a new job next week and things have been really crazy for me, but starting to cool off (for now!). Anyway, Saturday I received a response from the NYS AG regarding my loan with Oneclick (after filing in July!). Oneclick has written off my loan as PIF! I can't believe it, that makes TWO MTE companies (the first being ameriloan) that have not only responded to the AG, but have actually cooperated. Could I be dreaming?? I'm so loving the NYS AG right now! :wink:

To the guest who sent me a QM under the name of "pissed off"..I know you are reading this right now, and since guests don't have a homepage, I wanted to make sure you saw my response to you!! It is my responsibility as a moderator on this board to clean up. When I see a thread that is very obviously going to cause all kinds of trouble and contains all kinds of personal attacks, I will either lock or delete that thread. Nothing personal, but maybe you should read the TOS before posting in that manner.

Help Im in a sea of payday loans, you know how it goes, you borrow one and think no problem I can pay it back then you have to borrow more to pay that one and so on and so on now I owe 1760 in payday loans! How do I get out? I cant keep up this pace, its costing me 240 dollars every pay day to just re write these checks, i owe Cashmaster 230, Cash Express 330, Money Now 280, Title loan 230, Cash in a flash 230, Family check advance 460. How do I get out of this? I cant get a loan though anyone I know or any place, the only think I can think of is bankruptcy!!

Has anyone been dealing with these yahoo's lately? I got a response just now and wanted to know what will actually happen. I have paid $750 thus far on $500 loan and actually sent them a letter stating I would like a refund of $250 as I have paid back the principle on an illegal debt... Are they easy to work with? Here is what they said: your email has been received & forwarded to our legal department. Counsel will review your letter and contact you via email. Thanks, Netcah USA

After burning out sending debt validation letters and receiving calls at work and calls to relatives and being sold like a debt slave from one bottom feeder to another, I finally contacted an attorney that I found right here on this site. Several people posted satisfatory reviews about him and he was right here in Clearwater Fla. where I live! I have an initial phone consultation with him tonight. When I first called I got him on his cell and I was apologetic. I told him I got the number off this site and he said he put it there. I wonder if the person who posted the thread was him.

Anyone ever have any dealings with this company in Ohio? I am one week late paying them and dont have the funds.

they said they have a account form verizon (since sep)there number is 1-800-261-3766,they said i owe 265.00 dollars and if they have to sue me they will sue for 1,000 dollars and a judgment will be on my credit report and will bring my score down more.i called verizon a few days ago and ask them to send verification of the debt they told me to call the above collection i did and they said they didnt have anything and to get it from verizon.i called verizon again and told them what collections said and verizon said ok they will send the papers out.i dont wanna be sued because of this 265.00 dol

I have been having some issues with a couple of collection agencys lateley.First is NCO.It is on a Capital One account. I sent them a validation letter(certified) on January 9,2008. Since that request they have sent me 2 letters (it is tax season here is your special offer) and 9 phone calls to contact Aaron Million in an attempt to collect on a debt. I know they are in violation, but who should I contact about it and is it worth my while? Second is with Harris & Dial.

Hey everyone~ I am sorry I have not been on for a while. I have been sick and not much in the mood to type or anything, had to come to work anyway and things have been busy at home and now I am trying to get ready to leave Wednesday. Kyle did call on Sunday. He is doing great. He is excited because he gets to start wearing his dress blues today. When he got done talking to me, he was going to go back to his barracks and polish his shoes, again! LOL He is looking forward to going to tech school and have a little more freedom.

Hello everyone, I actually came across this forum while doing a search for yet ANOTHER payday loan to take out. I have read through these forums for hours and I am certain now that taking out another payday loan is not the answer- but maybe the kind folx here will have some helpful advice for me. It is only days away from the dreaded "payday", and I have been losing sleep and have been depressed because I am in so over my head I don't know what to do. My story really goes back to a couple of years ago, when my 14-year old car was on it's last legs.
