I have good credit in that I have no late payments on my credit cards. What would debt relief do to my credit score?

Has anyone had an account with them, or know if they are reliable? I applied for a loan of 300 with them and Ive sent them two requests to pay it off in full (total with interest #390) and I haven't gotten any sort of response from them. I have a slightly icky feeling in my stomache that I may have made a mistake going with them.

Hi, we are looking to about enroll in the settlement program with Care One, because we no longer can keep up with all the payments and survive with the affects from the market and economy on income right now. We tried to do a refi on our house but again because of the market and all, it would not go through, we tried several times. We also have been in the process of wanting to re-buy another house to get back where our doctors are and sell this one, we have health disabilities.

Like so many people, my struggles with debt started in college. I was naive about money, I was newly independent, and credit cards were easy to come by. And I ended up getting myself in too deep. It's a recurring cycle in my family...my mother and sister both declared bankruptcy, for the same reason. Fast forward a bit. I'm now in my early 30's, and have about 25K in debt, including several collections, a tax offset, and 5 judgments. To put it bluntly, my credit stinks. I was able to get a car loan a few years ago, but at a hefty 16%. I'm ready to kick this monster called debt.

I cleared my at&t bills up over 7 years ago, now I just received a letter from this company saying AT&T was the original creditor and I owe 3000.00

Hi I have signed with Freedom debt relief and I just had them settle with one of my creditors to keep them from suing me. Now I pay more to the Law firm and my Original amount owed was 4900.00 now with the settlement it is 6900.00 that is just one of my accounts, the rest haven't even been contacted that I am in this program.

hello,ok this is one of my problems (chase)it is a charge off account, i want to pay them.is it true they can remove the charge off in exchange for payment and mark it closed and paid has agreed.i am feeling really depressed i need to raise my credit score.if anyone here was able to have this done on there credit report please let me know there is hope...

im confuzzed once a charge off is put on a account can i have it removed for exchange for payment??????im hearing diff answers on this one if any one here was able to have this done for them please let me know im feeling hopeless and sad.......its chase i want to pay but also want to improve my credit score.
