Can banks take your money to cover negative balances after you have filed bankruptcy?

Has anyone in this forum been sued by Cashcall.I feel I will be sued by them in the near future.I included them in a debt consolidation program but so far no money has been paid to them for two months.I defaulted on the loan in Jan. After a year of faithful payments.If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.Should I attempt to contact them or use the company that I am trying to negotiate a settlement.I am using OVLG as the debt consolidation company.My problem is that I have not had enough funds to build up in my trust account to make settlement offer.Of course cashcall wants their mon

What financial help is there for identity theft victims? It happened to me two times last year and now everything is out of control including my mortgage. All I want to do is get caught up on my bills by using the equity in my home . This was a much bigger problem than I realized and I've spent over a year trying to fix it. I now have a plan and found some resources for help but I need to get my finances on track first. I had excellent credit over a year ago and now it's ruined. Any help would be appreciated. I received a phone call at work this morning from these collectors. Guy sounded pretty shady, but I told them I could not take personal calls at my work. He tried to keep going with the I'm in breach of contract regarding a credit card debt, but I cut him off. How do I find out if Simm and Assoc. is licensed to collect in PA?

Hello, This may be a lengthy post, but I truly appreciate those who read it and offer some sound advice. I am new to this forum, but have read some really great advice. I am a 26 year old woman trying to finally pay off debts from my early 20's. I pulled my credit report and payed off all the small collections (College, Hospital Bills, BGE, Dentist). Of course, I read this forum too late and did not get them to agree to delete them from my credit, but at least it is a start to a debt free life. I now have 5 Bigger bills that need to be payed off.

I posted yesterday in the wrong forum so I will try again. I did get some help yesterday and they said that I had over paid my PDL places so how do I go about telling them that I am not going to pay them anymore. I live in Ohio and all of the PDL's are online. ameriloan 250.00 I have paid 630.00 so far J.D. Marketing 300.00 I have paid 540.00 Apple Fast Cash 250.00 and I have paid 337.70 Payday One 500.00 and I have to pay it March 6th 575.00 so I will have to borrow and then renew it again.

Does anyone have an address for them? I put it in the search engine and got nothing back.

If I send a check to a collection agency and put PAID IN FULL on the check and they sign and cash it, will that hold up in court if they try to come after me for more money?
