I am in Florida and recently reviewed my credit report and noticed a couple of entries made by a CA on accounts charged off since 1999 and 2001? There are also a couple of entries from a CA on medical bills from 1999 also. Can I dispute them or are they allowed to put them on my credit report even though the SOL has expired? Are medical bills different from credit card bills?

do you or do you know of someone who helps people with there secured debt like car and mortgage payments?

I am in a situation where I have accumulated a modest amount of debt and am living from pay check to pay check trying to keep up with my obligations. If I did not have the consumer related debt I would be doing okay. The money being spent on credit card bills could be saved or invested. I recently became aware of a debt payoff system which accelerates the pay off of consumer debt. Do you have any words of wisdom in the area of accelerating the pay off of consumer debt?

My checking account was recently closed by Citi and my chexsystem report does not show any negative reports. However, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before Citi gives me a negative report. I opened new checking accounts with Commerce Bank and Bank of America? I know that BOA would likely not close the account but how about Commerce?

Hello, I am new to this site and don't have a clue what I am doing. I replied to some posts for advice to see how you all handled your problems with PDL's. I am in such a terrible situation. I have at least 8 payday loans and keep getting deeper and deeper in because I don't have the money to payback, therefore, I get another just to live. I noticed on some of your posts there is a place or organization called T&C. Can anyone tell me who they are and what they can do to help. Also, has anyone heard of Langhorne? I don't want to get ripped off.

I'm 22, and barely survive on my minimum wage job. When I first went to college, I accepted a credit card, made payments on time and in full, so they upped my credit limit. I maxed it out, spending over $2600. Yes it was and IS irresponsible, but I couldn't make the payments, and just ignored them. This morning I was served with a summons to appear in court. My total amount owed is $3700. The only thing I own is my car. I make $350 a week. What is going to happen to me? I have no family to help.

if my husbands ex-wife filed bankruptcy a year ago on their debt, does he now have to file on their debt in order to clean up his credit?
