18 years 3 months ago
Hi i just wanted to say I have used pdls before. And I have not had any problems. But my last loan was from Little Loan Shoppe. I was wondering if anyone else had good experiences with this companies ? All I seem to find here is people having really bad experiences with companies. It would be nice to know of good companies to use , when we need them.

Finding loans online

I just wanted to share the fact that everyone should be very cautious if searching for a loan online. Although you can find loans online through legitimate financial institutions there are also a lot of companies out there looking to rip people off so beware. You should always use some common sense and I also advise checking with the BBB before possibly giving your identity away to some hacker. If you're serious about getting a loan and you have the time you may want to check with your local banks first. You're always better safe than sorry! :D

Sorry for the test post, didn't wish to do all this typing then it ask me to login. I am surprised I can post without registering :P So anyways, I am an individual making about 50k a year pre-tax, I rent; my share is 500, my combined debt is about 13k or so including my vehicle. I only wish to combine my bad debt which is about $5-6k as I actually have a very good apr on my vehicle. I have a very solid work history and work for a big company.

New... any advice would be great!

Hi everyone. I am in my mid twenties $45,000-50,000 in debt. I still have 3 more years of school left and am having an impossible time making minimum payments on all of my cards! I am at my wits end. I recently started looking into debt consolidation but am very unsure about it. Was hoping to get some advice from everyone regarding what the best options are for me. I don't want to do bankruptcy, I just need to drastically reduce my monthly payments. I have been told that Take Charge America is a good company. Any advice? Other recommended companies?

United Cash loans

Hello, Unfortunately, I have filled an application with these people and now I am regretting it. They have not sent any money yet. They sent an email stating that the money will be transferred(anticipated) by 12:01AM, then at the same time an email asking me to call because they have a few questions about my application. Now, I do not want these folks to make a deposit, but I am hesitant to call them and tell them so. I also have the feeling that they will not make a deposit if I do not call. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks,

Settlement offer from storefront

18 years 3 months ago
I got a call today from Quik Cash (storefront) on my defaulted loan. They offered a "Settlement" of $350 for my $500 loan, but only if I gave them my bank account info today. I told them that I did not have that much to give them, so they countered with a "Can you pay $50 by February 11th?" I said sure, I'll call back and give you a credit card payment on that day, but could they please send a settlement letter. They said they HAD to have my bank account information RIGHT NOW because all they could take was a post dated check for February 11th--I told them I no longer had a checking account.
