Reading through this thread, and I got to wondering... What's available for credit-repair purposes as far as either: 1 - A secured card without fees that'll rip the wallet off a parson's ass, or 2 - A low-limit card with more relaxed qualifications. I'm sure there are lots of folks here that could benefit from knowing. Come on, y'all. Post'em if ya know'em.

Back in Oct 207, I got a letter from an attorney that this company bought a debt and now he is representing. I sent a validation letter and all I got back were two statements from the credit card company and nothing else. Resend the same letter and now I got back a statement again, like you would get in the mail from that credit card and nothing else What do I do re send the letter again? There are charges on this statement I do not understand and not sure how they got added. this was a secured credit card from Fleet several years back.

cab you help me pay off debt from credit cards? this credit card are from my mother. She acquired this debts when she tried into business but it didnt work out, in the end she was hospitalize...retired from job...and now her credit cards balance is getting higher because sometimes we cannot pay the minimum due. I was thinking, if I encounter a CA that is unwilling to fax/mail a agreement to a payment plan in writing do you think recording it will be as effective? (I do live in a one party state btw)

I was told that if you have a debt in your name that you have not paid a single payment on thereby never acknowledging the debt for more than 4 years then legally the debt is not yours. Is this true?

How do you get a cashout? I have done the quick messege to the admin and sisn't hear anything back so i did an email to them. Is there another way to request a cashout or how long does it take to get your money? Maybe I am just impatient. :roll:

will bankruptcy take care of payday loans?

as i prepare to close my accounts i am wondering if the storefronts will take smaller payments or if it goes to collection will i be better off. Collections would seem to at least delay things for awhile
