I had tried to set up a payment plan with my CA, Superior Asset Management. This is for a $520.00 debt with T-Mobile, that the CA wants $550.00. They called me periodically for the next 2 weeks. Once I returned their phone call. They said the payment didn't go through, insufficient funds. After checking with my bank, and knowing I had enough in my account. I called them back to to get their address to mail a check. They are not willing to give me any information at all to pay on this debt. They said they will not take a payment of any kind unless it's a money gram.

Greetings. . . .I am new to this forum but am hoping that I can find some encouragement from fellow PDLer's. I currently have 5 outstanding pay day loans and they are slowly but surely killing me. I am now finding that I am struggling to meet my daily expenses as a result of this nightmare. As I said, I reside in New York State. I set up payments with a debt collector for so much every two weeks. I was unable to make the payments for awhile and had them stopped until I was able to do it again. Well just the other day they went in and took out the total amount owed on the account. This was never agreed upon. From what I thought a debt collector was not allowed to take more then what was agreed upon. Is this correct? I called them yesterday and he said he would see what he could do about it and would call me back within an hour. He never called back so I called again and left a message but he never called back.

Please help. . . .I currently have 5 pay day loans outstanding due to unanticipated, emergency expenses. These debts are killing me on a monthly basis and I don't seem to get anywhere. They are now interfering with my ability to pay my necessary, daily living expenses. I am in New York. Is it possible to get this "sharks" out of my life? Any organizations that can help with getting this paid and not put me on the street? Thanks in advance.

The amount of my debt isn't much compared to some of my friends, but the number of debtors are overwhelming. I have been thinking about filing for about two years now but I don't know how this will affect the following: -I'm ready to start a very small at home business, but I'm not sure if I should file first or purchase my business license first. My aunt said that if I file and then get my license, it wouldn't look right to the courts. -Lastly, if someone gets married, wouldn't their credit automatically affect the spouse's credit? Please advise

How do I know if a debt collector is really part of the pre-legal division? How can I verify the amount I'm being offered to settle a debt?
