I had a judgement placed against me by an attorney representing Discover/Arrow Financial. I did not attend the hearing as the rip off settlement company I was with told me they were getting me a settlement and an appearance was not necessary! I called the attorney to see if I could negotiate and he will not work with me. Says there was no attempt to settle by anyone and I have to pay at least $10,000 of the $12,000 balance (includes interest and late fees). I offered him $7000. but he won't accept it or set up payments for the $3000. Suggested I get a loan from a bank.

Does anyone know an address for FNCL Corp of America? They are on my credit report and I have been trying to send them a debt validation letter. I used the address on the credit report and it came back undeliverable.

A CA has faxed me a letter after talking to them and coming up with a payment amount. This letter he faxed says something to the effect of: "After receiving payment this office will consider this account paid in full and all 3 major credit report agencies will be updated as such". Does this mean that my CR will be updated saying Paid in Full? Is this what the letter needs to say or should the wording be different? Should I pay by Credit Card or send them a Money Order? What is my best option? Thank you.

Hi, I did look into a lawyer about filing chapter 7. She did do as means test on me and believe me I dont have much. I did receive a 20 day notice and let her see it. Then after that meeting. I had to come up with the money to pay her to even file for chapter 7. I own a home, I have a mini van. I dont have equity in the home and all I fear is losing my home. I do not want to lose the house. She did say I can file for chapter 7 with all that I have. I did receive a 2 nd notice which is a ten day notice. I showed it to her and she said that they cant really do anything that it will be default.

I've been having difficulty with getting the payday loan company information together. Does anyone out here have a list of the Internet lenders by any chance?

:oops: I am a single mom, my daugter is in her third year of college. Now I find myself in the situation, that I now see a lot of other people are in. At this moment I have 5 pdls. Two for 575.00 2 for 402.50 1 for 460.00. I now also owe the IRS 671.00. I have no way out help.

Check 1st - this one has actually set up payments with me. 3 internet companies my cash now National Opportunities - Its my payday Cash Central - can really get a straight name on this one. Any advice on these???
