I logged on this morning and the whole left side of my screen is gone!! My page is missing and my lists...all I can see or get on is the forums...all my messages are gone and there is no way to access them...what happened???

I received a letter a few weeks ago from a Vision Financial which stated their client, CompuCredit had bought a debt from them in the amt. of $132. One of the Credit bureaus (from an older report) shows this debt pd in full per the company (unsecured cc) in 2003, past the SOL in Texas anyway, and another Credit bureau ( a more recent report but still a diff cb) shows it was charged off. So since I received that after I found this great site, I sent them the validation letter by cert'd mail w/sign req'd. Got the green card back the other day with a signature.

I just found out my husband has been negligent on a Capital One Loan he is paying off. He just hasn't paid the last two months because we were short on money. With late fees the payment for February is $2,000 which is too much for us to afford. So, now that the credit cards are hidden and we are on a united force against the debt I would like to contact Capital One and ask if there is any way we can get rid of the late fees or suspend them and add the amount we didn't pay to our cumulative debt, so that we can make our regular payment of 600.00. I have no idea how to go about this.

Wow am I glad I found this website. Long story short, My father left a car with me that I parked and it got towed. At that time we got a letter that stated the car was going to be sold at auction to recover the towing and storage fees. The car was kinda junky so we just thought "let them have it" Now fast forward almost 8 years we get a letter in the mail saying we owe over $1,400 for towing and storage fees. The same day we got a call from the CA about this but my dad wasn't home to talk to them. The Car was in Nevada when it was towed and the CA is from California. What are my options?

i need a loan of about 1400 and i read somewhere about installment loans. are they the same as payday loans? worse? better? does anyone know of any good installment load providers that don't care about credit history?
