Hi, Ijust got a call from a Mrs Bog at A.S. Assoc from Nat'l Money store. I took out a $450.00 PDL and wanted to pay it back, however, right after that My mom died and I had to use that money for going out of town. I did not have a paycheck coming in as I was gone (no benefits) and my account was neg. i spoke to my bank, they closed the account and I am making payment to them each week. By "Attorney's Firm" A.S. Assoc called and they were very rude, threatening prosecution for fraud, jail time etc if I do not make payment.

Anyrate, I did not pay back the PDL when the loan was due, my mother died, I was called out of town, I had no paycheck and no money. And there is no money in my mom's affairs either. My bank account went into arrears (I am on a payment plan to pay the bank back) but I shut the account down. I am still playing catch up and planned on doing something for Nat'l $ Store, but after this call, I am about ready to say screw them, you're not getting a dime.

I had a bunch of stuff on the credit report, most of it wrong and just plain strange. Thanks to all the great help and information, now the only ones left are the two that are about to get sued!!!! they claim to be collecting from a online payday loan from 2-3 years ago but will not give me any info i need until tomorrow, will not give me an address and will not validate my debt

So united fed bank is a fraud and i should not pay them??

I am considering filing chapter 13 which would also include filing on my Cash Call loan. I am a little concerned about what may happen next. I have been reading about and have experienced some of the horrible collection tactics they employ. I am wondering if anyone has filed Chapter 13 and included Cash Call. If so, what can I expect? Additionally, upon consulting with their atty, has anyone challenged the terms of the Cash Call contract? I have been researching the law in washington state on contract law.

i have recently received a call from someone from the united federal bank and any info i could find was on your web site. This seems to be a fake company trying to scam me. they will not give me an address or validation of debt. When i ask about these things they get mad and say they will turn me over to georgia courts and have me arrested on a few different charges. having delt with collection agencies before, all they are telling me seems fake or like a lie. they also would not give me info to send a western unuion to them until i was at the western union office.

I am interested in fixing my credit, but i know i cannot afford to do this now. I was wondering if a debt consolidation loan would be a wise choice to make. Then the only payment i will be responsible for is the loan
