Car not picked up after 7 years

12 years 8 months ago
I have a vehicle that was surrendered during bankruptcy. The lender never made any attempts to pick up the vehicle. We parked it in the field next to our house where it has sat for over 7 years. I am wondering what the law says about ownership. Has this vehicle been forfeited? Can I license this vehicle and drive it? It needs several thousand in repairs and I don't want to invest the time or money in something that can be taken from me. I am in the state of ky. Thanks

Bottom Dollar Payday

I have a loan from "Bottom Dollar Payday" a/k/a PDL Services LLC or International Equities Group, LLC. How do I find out if there is another address for them besides "Charleston, Nevis - West Indies? I called them but they said they don't have an address that payments can be sent to like if you wanted to pay them off - you have to do it by phone. My attorney is needing an address. My loan was for $330.00 in July. By October 15th I have already paid $661.50!!!!

Cash Call Western Sky

Hi all, how do I answer this? Thanks, Jenn This letter is being sent in response to your inquiry of October 24, 2012 in regards to the interest rate charged in conjunction with your loan. Your loan was funded by Western Sky Financial ("Western Sky") on May 07, 2012, in the amount of $2,525.00, which is the loan amount of $2,600.00 minus the $75.00 Prepaid Finance Charge/Origination Fee. Western Sky is a wholly Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Member owned business and is located and operates within the exterior boundaries of the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation.

Probably different from most here

I had some family medical crises, and ca. $30,000 in credit card debt three years ago. Other than a trampoline and swing set, our credit card debt was primarily gas, groceries, car repairs, etc. Summers are tight for us because I am a teacher (I do low-skill construction and other things during the summers to get by), and when I asked for a forbearance from the credit card companies, they told me to go jump in a lake. I stopped paying on them in June 2009, and in August, I signed up with a debt management company. Under the terms with them, I was to pay $409 a month over three years.

watch out for instant approval--Hydra Fund II

12 years 8 months ago
if you are out there in cyber space looking at payday loans....watch out for anything that says "instant approval". They didn't list their name at all on any site. They got me and I didn't even know it. The next day I had $250 in my account I did not where it came from, it didn't have a phone number so I couldn't cancel it. I tried to find it...they had a fake website...no phone number...email address had a 404 error show up. I didn't get a phone number until they took their first interest payment.

payday lenders calling

12 years 8 months ago
I sent my two illegal payday lenders letters to revoke ACH and why and used the letters on OhioGal's sticky. Do I have to talk to these people. How can I stop them from calling my job? They are still the original creditor. What can I expect now? What do I do now? thanks

Anasazi Group email...You're not going to believe this!

12 years 8 months ago
So last week I posted the email that I received from Anasazi Group (here it goes again, just in case you didn't have a chance to read it). Yesterday, I received an email stating that I owe $39, which $9 is the finance charge! These people are nuts! How should I respond? Thanks Our Lender has agreed to accept a final payment of $30 via Money order on 10/26 to close out this account with a $0 balance.

great plains

This forum has been so much help to me but I have a question. I sent this email to great plains and this was their response. Should I call them or just correspond by email only? Dear Great Plains Lending, It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of Washington in order to offer loans to its residents. Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid.
