I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year :) I hope that in the new year brings us hope in becoming debt free and rid of these terrible payday loans. If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't be where I am today. I now know my rights and will never be taken again by CA calling to scare me into paying them. Since I came here last year with my 20 payday loans, I am now just dealing with a few of the bottom feeder CA's from the internet loans. We have hit a few bumps in the long road away from the payday loans, but we are getting there.

I am trying to consolidate my payday loans(way too many) but I also have personal loans. Should I put them all together? Would that be better?

I got another call from these people. They said that my account was with the "Investigation Department" and if I didn't respond by 11:00 it would go to the "Legal Department". After reading about them on this site..and knowing I more than paid back my loan, I learned that my cell phone has a nifty little feature...the block list. I blocked the number that came up on the caller ID. We'll see what happens.

Happy Holidays everyone! I haven't been on in a bit, busy with all the holiday happens. But I need some help. I have one loan left with PayDay1. Which if you remember was originally PayDay ok and they did that little trick and had me switch to PayDay1 in October. I know I had to have either over paid PayDay ok or almost had them paid off when this happened. I'm very mad about this and don't want to send PayDay1 any money, however I defaulted on this loan about a month, month and half ago. They called me a few times at first and now I've heard NOTHING from them.

My mother received a phone call from SAM today and they stated they were trying to collect a debt from me. I have never received anything from them and the number they left hung up on me after 30 seconds each time I called. I tried the other number I found on this site and that hung up on me after 3 mins. I am unable to find a real webpage for them. Are they even legit??? And if so how do I get a hold of them?? Thank you

I just received a call from a Mr. Robert Beckner calling about my LVNV funding account. I received a call last month from Northstar Group which is a collection agency that refuses to state they are. I requested validation from them and it was reassigned to this law office. They have threatened to sue me. Guess it's time for my to get a attorney on retain. Kinda worried but I think I got this in the bag. In late April this year I called requesting validation and told them I would pay it in full upon receipt of validation, I had more than enough at the time to do so.
