I have received a summon from a lending company about the debt of a said friend whom i was a guarantor...they told me to pay her credit since i was the guarantor...What should i do? i didn't say i won't pay, all i need is time.

I had a pay day loan from 'Mac Development' for $300. I literally paid like $1200 back because I was only paying the interest. I stopped paying because it was just stupid. They keep harassing me at work and telling me they're going to garnish my wages if I don't pay this week $250. I gave them a prepaid card number to get them off my back until I figured this out. Hello, New to forum so I'l start with the basic Installment loan - 2600 Amount paid - 500+ Company - check n go State live in- California Payment due every 2 weeks As many other people I got this installment loan to cover emergency expenses . My credit is rating is fair but my credit usage is extremely high. I had been applying to various credit unions and lenders and was turned down left and right. The interest rate is 216% apr and Im trying to find a way to get this loan refinance to any company that the interest rate is 30% or less.

After I have filed FTC complaints and sent cease and desist letters,the illegal PDL company continues to call everyday demanding the full amount plus fees.Is there anything else that I can do?
