To make this short, me and my soon to be finance, are considering moving to phoenix, az. He is looking at taking a REALLY good job (would make more than both of us combined at this point). Problem is we are both working on improving our bad credit and I am afraid it will hold us back when it comes to renting a new place even though we have good rental history. I feel like between 2 small dogs, a cat and bad credit we'd never find a place to rent... Anyone have any input on renting with bad credit?

I am getting ready to file chapter 7. I owed much more on my home than it was worth due to line of credit. I have received a foreclosure notice from 1st mortgage. Should I wait until the home has been foreclosed on before filling BK?

I meet with a credit counsler last year and they wanted to do a dmp. I couldn't afford the monthly payment that they wanted.

Does any one know where to get a personal loan to settle with CA's. I wish I could get one loan so that I could just pay off my debts and make one payment.

Can anyone explain what happens when a suit is filed? also what if a judgment is placed against you? What can the CA's do at this point?

received a call from United Federal Bank about a payday loan that I owe that was taken out in May 2005. A man named Leo Rodgers said I needed to pay $1600 to avoid court fees and being arrested at my home or place of employment. They were willing to accept $300 today if I send a money gram but never gave me the info to do so. I was told I had until 5pm today or I would spend christmas in jail. I asked for validation of debt but they wouldn't give it to me said it was against contract and that I had already rec. via email. (when I do not know).
