Hello, My wife and I will be moving to the UK next year. We fully intend to settle debts before we leave or keep up with payments once there. But there is one debt we would rather not pay - my wife had a promotional interest-free fincance plan for eye surgery. One year in to a 2 year plan my wife missed one of her payments and they slapped on all the prior finance charges amounting to over $700 in one go.

i got a collections notice for a very old verizon bill that was referred to palisades collections. i paid it a year ago, and now i am getting stuff from an nco group for an unpaid bill from at&t (never had at&t, but it was for the same address). has anyone else had their account sent to multiple collections for the same bill? i haven't yet got anything on my credit but an inquiry, but i don't feel i should even have that since it already paid it. how do i handle this? i would have just paid it (it's only 59 bucks) but it's so old (2002) I feel like it would be better not to.

:( I dont know how this has happened, it went down 5 points, but I am supposed to be getting 2 items removed, shouldnt that raise my score?

It's been a financial struggle for years - I'm a single mom of 4. A stupid move on my part got my car repossessed last night. I got a car title loan months ago so we could see my son graduate boot camp (14 hours away from home) - my army son promised to help pay for the trip but never did. Living paycheck to paycheck makes it difficult enough to pay the interest - let alone pay anything on the principle.

Ok, my wife applied for a payday loan Friday. I have no idea who she applied with but yesterday a deposit was made from CENTRUION FUND. I've googled this and find nothing. Theres no email from anyone saying she was approved and she has no idea what the payback is or anything. I've lurked these forums from time to time and I know you guys know tons about this stuff. Once again I have gotten myself in a financial bind. Has anyone ever bounced a check thru telecheck? I bounced a check that Telecheck is trying to collect on. I am afraid of going to jail!! :( Someone has been calling from investigations, which is an office within telecheck. I made a partial payment on this check. Will they prosecute me?

I have been going back and forth with this company for awhile over a $160 and have a later post about that. Well today I receive a phone call saying she has a warrant for my arrest...Can they do this to me? :?:
