Where can I find out what can happen if I am in AZ and close my account with ach debits still coming in? Thanks

I sent PayDay1 a letter a few weeks ago, advising I would have to submit 50$ every two weeks, they sent back a response telling where to send a fast cash payment and/or money order...but the response really didn't say they were ok with that. I just logged onto their site and it says my account is status as having an invalid bank account, but my bank account is still up and running, but their withdraw from a couple weeks ago did bounce, should I be worried? I have a credit score of 674 which is considered fair. I was recently disabled and involved the the Katrina disaster in New Orleans all at the same time. I had to use my credit cards to move to another city and when I started receiving my Railroad disability, I had accumulated about $23,000.00 of debt. I need to get a loan as I am able to pay my bills now but I do not have much left over for incidentals that occur during the month. How can you help me? Thanks

Well, It's done I have told my husband. He is very supportive but also very bitter. I have closed my acct, and our jnt acct. We changed our phone number too. This is the 1st week some of these companies aren't getting pd. What is goin to happen now? I am scared to hear the answers but I guess I need to be ready. Thanks

Upon further investigation, I find that the account dates to 1998. I don't recall ever opening the account, and even if I did the SOL had long expired (it was even off my credit report). So, I sent PRA a Cease Communications letter, certified mail with return receipt (got the receipt sitting right here) with the typical "cease all communication" language.   I just found out today anonymous 18 years 2 months ago I just found out today that somebody showed up where I used to live looking for me to 'deliver a package'. Suspecting a debt collector, I did a quick court search and came up with the following info: Date 8/31/2007 - Type Contract - Plaintiff Resurgence Financial Activity Date 9/25/2007 - SUMMONS RETURNED N.S.
