i have about 6 pdloans. i wish to settle them one by one but the interest are too high. for a loan of $400 they want me to pay $1800? they are rude on the phone.how can i lower the interest rate, i can only afford to pay $600 to settle this, as there are other existing loans and garnishment.

Okay, I closed my account and sent the letter to MyCashNow last week saying for them not to contact me by phone and not to attempt debiting my account. Also pointed out that they are in violation of Texas law and that I have overpaid them. Today I get the following email. My question is this - Do they really contact the credit bureaus or is this a bluff? YOUR LOAN WITH MyCashNow IS SERIOUSLY DELINQUENT. IF YOU CONTINUE TO IGNORE THIS DEBT, WE WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO REFER THIS ACCOUNT OVER FOR FURTHER COLLECTIONS.

I owe a number of PDL companies. Bank of Deleware - 2,000 Paid off about 700. GFS - 415 - Paid service fees only BIG - 250 - been paying for 10 months and have not touched principal. CTC - 950 - will not work with me. What can I do. They are drowning me and starting to harrass me at work. I have tried to talk with them but they will not work with me on anything. I am trying to close my bank account but it is 1000 in the hole so they keep adding fees and I can't get on top of it. I did stop my direct deposit so I could at least pay important things like daycare and Mortgage. HELP!

I am seeking so advise so that I can pass it on to my mom. She signed up with Acheive Financial to help settle her credit card debt. A couple of months ago she was sued by three of her creditors. They used the same Law Firm in our State. Based on advise from Acheive, she did not answer the summons or attend the court hearings (mistake on her part).
