I settled with CIR law offices working for Midland credit for a debt I owed.I paid the settlment, now two months later they are calling again asking for the rest. She gave me a song and dance that the OC did not accept the settlment terms and theRE was a mix up. I have the faxed agreement they faxed me that states upon settlement payment they would stop all collection activity and calls and the account would be considered paid. The settlment amount funds where withdrawn by electronic check over the phone. I am worried that now they will go after the rest without my permission.

I sent Enhanced Recovery Corp (out of Florida) a DV letter certified and signaure proof. I got the green card back over two weeks ago and they have not sent anything back. They keep calling me on my cell phone and leaving me messages to call them back. They are still showing on my credit report. This is for an old Spiegal card i had. I know they went bankrupt about two years ago. Anyhow aren't they suppose to take me off my credit report if they can't or wont sent me the papwork proving my debt? Has anyone heard of this CA?

Well after going back and forth with Cash Supply I got a PIF. I emailed them yesterday and informed of the New NM PDL laws and this was their reply. Thanks for your help Quote:
