I sent a letter to onclickcash thay were able to debit my account again because they beat me to the bank because of thanksgiving holiday, so i didn't get a chance to close the account in time. Now when I log into the onine account it says the account is in collections. It does not reflect that they debited a payment on november 23, and they have not emailed me back yet. What should I expect?

my husband got papers saying asset is suing for a judgement on account they bought from citibank in 2006..the papers show delinquence as of 11/2003 but say citibank got a payment 3/2004.if they got payment in 2004 then wouldn't the delinquency be that year also? don't know much about SOL but seems if he was delinquent in 2003 then it's been 4 years but seems they filed the lawsuit Oct 31 2007 so that would be 2 weeks before SOL is up.

I have been informed by a CA that they will use CHECK RECOVERY to find any active checking account in my name. They also stated they will withdraw any amount due them from this account. I am sure that this is fraudulent and I made my bank aware of the possible pending transaction. However can they find my account number just through a check recovery system and use it for their purposes???

I have been threatened by a CA to use Check Recovery to find any active checking account I may have and debit my account any amount that is due them. Does anyone know anything about this system. Do they use illegal tactics to get account information and can they debit my account if they find it???

I have taken all my steps with help from you wonderful people to start getting out of this payday mess. I am now working with Town and Country and getting the ball rolling. 2 things are still really bothering me... yesterday I got a letter in the mail from ACA and it said the client name was INSTANTCASH and the total was 545.00. I was confused because I never borrowed from an instantcash so I called. After HOLDING forever a "Lady" came on there and started out really nice then I finally got her to admit instantcash was MTE Financial.

I have agreed to settle in full my last outstanding debit. I trust the CA as they have provided every thing that I needed from them and they have informed me of my rights both on the phone and in writing. I believe they recently had problems with FTC so they are being very careful to follow the rules. And it has made things go very smoothly I am to call the CA today and they want to do a 3way call with my bank to insure that the account does indeed have the available funds. Is this normal practice? This it the one thing that makes me uncomfortable (this and the 1099 that comes later).

We have a lot of bills under 400 dollars and 4 payday loans out.the settlement companies do not accept debt under 400 dollars and most of them do not do payday loans.i am talking to an associate here on this consumer site to see if they can assist me,does anyone else have any input or know of some one in indiana?i do not know if loan consolidation would be a better way to go or if payday loans can be consolidated.our daughter was killed in auto accident.we have been in debt ever since trying to pay lawyers.some people just take your misfortures in life and try to make money off of you.we have
